Te Whatu Ora Hawkes Bay laboratory is an IANZ accredited medical laboratory

Our main laboratory is located at the Hawkes Bay Fallen soldiers memorial hospital, Omahu Rd Hastings. In addition to this, we have collection centres in Napier, Waipukurau, and Wairoa. Most testing is performed centrally at the Hawkes Bay hospital Laboratory, with some Point of Care testing available in Wairoa. Our Laboratory provides all Medical Laboratory Testing services for Hawkes Bay Hospital, Kaweka Hospital, and also for General Practice in Wairoa, Central Hawkes Bay, and half of surgeries in Napier and Hastings. Our Blood bank provides blood and blood products for the entire region.
